The equity management strategy employed by Trend Dynamics is a quantitative approach based on its proprietary software program called TIPs – Trend Identification Parameters. Mutual Fund portfolios follow a dynamic asset allocation approach and are also structured from the TIPs software program.

About Us

Trend Dynamics was established in 1991 to develop proprietary quantitative models utilizing fundamental and technical data to determine the underlying trends for specific securities and the broader markets. They were established to develop various proprietary models and formulas created by Dr. Robert J. Stalla. Dr. Stalla is known for his extensive review course for CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) candidates. TIPs (Trend Indentification Parameters) is a quantitative approach to analyzing securities and broad market trends. The TIPs model successfully integrates both fundamental and technical information into a single equation used to determine the total return an investor can expect from an investment. TIPs incorporates these models into unique strategies that are used in the management of assets by Trend Dynamics. The focus of Trend Dynamics is to determine the relative attractiveness of securities by combining the insights obtained from both the fundamental and technical analysis in one unified model that quantifies the results.
